Leanne G. O’Neill earned her BFA in Theatre Studies from The Theatre School at DePaul University. While living in Chicago she worked as a theatre educator for Victory Gardens, The Lake Forest Children’s Theatre and production assistant for Lookingglass Theatre Company. After moving to the DC area, Leanne spent three years as the Director of Education for The City of Fairfax Theatre Company and two years as Director of Education and Community Outreach for Performance Workshop Theatre’s Young Actors Studio. She also taught theatre at Luther Jackson Middle School and was a guest director at Fairfax and Falls Church high schools before starting her current position as Performing Arts teacher at The Harbour School’s Baltimore campus working with children with special needs. Her directing credits include Wit, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Little Women, Romeo and Julie, Love Letters and She Speaks! to name a few. Favorite acting roles include Juliet, Antigone and Desdemona.
